Magnetic Terms of Use

By using Magnetic you agree to these terms. Apple's standard Licensed
Application End User License Agreement
(https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also
applies. How Magnetic handles what you send is in the Privacy Policy
(https://magneticmatrix.app/privacy.html).
Who this agreement is with
Magnetic is operated by Magnetic Matrix LLC ("we"), reachable at
[email protected]. These terms are the agreement between you and us.
What Magnetic does
Magnetic reads the conversations, matches screens and profiles you give it,
tells you where you stand, and suggests messages you might send. It uses
artificial intelligence services to turn screenshots into text and to draft
suggestions; Magnetic's own rules decide what it shows you. Everything it
says is advice, not a guarantee: a suggestion can be wrong, and you decide
what to send.
Magnetic is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any dating
app. It has no access to your dating accounts and never sends anything on
your behalf.
You must be 18 or older
Magnetic is for adults. By using it you confirm you are at least 18 years
old. The App Store lists Magnetic at 17+; that is Apple's content rating,
not permission to use it under 18. The additional year is our own
requirement, because this app is about adult relationships.
What you may not use it for
Do not use Magnetic for a conversation with anyone under 18, for a
conversation you are not part of, or to harass, deceive, stalk, threaten,
coerce or harm anyone. Do not impersonate another person, and do not
attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the service. You are
responsible for every message you actually send, and for obeying the terms
of the apps you use Magnetic alongside.
Your content
You may only submit conversations, screenshots, and information you have
the right to share. You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us the
limited right to process and store it to operate the service, and to derive
from it anonymous, aggregated counts — never the words themselves — that
improve the service for everyone, each as described in the Privacy Policy.
Before you subscribe
Before you subscribe, Magnetic can read one screenshot of your matches
screen and set up your board with everyone on it, without charge. Reading a conversation,
suggesting a message, reviewing your own profile and everything else
Magnetic does requires Magnetic+ or its free trial.
Magnetic+ subscription
Magnetic+ is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple. The
offer shown on the paywall is weekly, billed after a free trial of the
length shown there; a monthly plan may also be offered. The price, the
billing period and the trial are stated on the paywall before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings at any time; cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of
any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not warrant that suggestions will produce any particular outcome in
your relationships.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of
the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve
months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Magnetic at any time. Deleting a connection erases its
data, and Delete everything on the You tab erases all of it, as described
in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access that violates
these terms.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with
a new date. Continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without
regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes a right you hold
under the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
